| This web page is two old time recipe for different types of sauces. The first one is a standard tomato sauce and the 2nd one is a mustard sauce. |

| TOMATO SAUCE. |
| 7 basil leaves. |
| 1 finely chopped onion. |
| 6 tablespoon virgin olive oil. |
| 12-15 oz can diced tomatoes and juice. |
| Pepper to taste. |
| Salt to taste. |

| Heat the oil and add the onion. Stirring until soft or about 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes and juice and simmer gentlyy for about 11 minutes. |
| Now stir in the basil, salt, and pepper. You now have a good basic tomato sauce. |
| MUSTARD SAUCE. |
| 2 cup sour cream. |
| 2 tablespoon mustard. |
| 1/4 cup mayonnaise. |
| Salt to taste. |
| Pepper to taste. |
|
| Mix all the ingredients . Chill for more then 1 hour before using.
