| This web page is on making turkey hash. If you want to you can use beef, chicken, or some other ground item. |
|
| If you let me know of a good recipe that would go in this set, I can add to this web page. Use the e-mail address at the end of this page. |
|
|
| 1 1/2 lb potatoes. |
| 2 coarsely chopped onions. |
| 1 cup barbecue sauce. |
| 2 cups diced cooked turkey (or beef, etc.). |
| 2-3 tablespoons olive oil. |
| Salt to taste. |
| Pepper to taste. |
|
|---|
| Cook the potatoes until the potatoes are tender and then after cooling peel and cut into 1/3 inch, dice. |
| In a pan heat the olive oil and add the onions and cook, stirring often, until softened. Add the potatoes and cook until the onions and potatoes mixture is lightly browned. Add salt and pepper. |
| Add the turkey to the pan and cook until crispy around the edges. Add the barbecue sauce and cook until mixed well and heated through. |
| Some people will add eggs to the hash at the end. Try it with and without the eggs. |
|
| Good Luck. |
