| A TV tape recorder that will work in the US may not work in other place in the world. There are 3 different tape systems that are used outside the US. They are listed below. |

| NTSC is the system that is used in Canada, US, Chile, Bermuda, etc. |
|---|
| PAL is the system tht is used in Afghanistan, China, most of South America, Austria etc. |
|---|
| SECAM os used om Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijn, Bulgaria, etc. |
|---|
|

| If you have a US recorder or TV, it may not work outside the US. Check before you take one on a trip. |

| Radio Shack will sell you a tape recorder tht will make tape and play tapes with all system. The cost will be about 3 times the price of a standard vhs recorder that most of the other stores sell. |

| You will need this type of recorder if you are making a tape to send to someone outside the US or Canada. |
