• pack for trip
• make sure all faucets turned off (unless it's winter; then let 1 faucet drip).
• Turn off air conditioner
• Turn down heater (make sure water pipe temp is above freezing -- DAV's heater only goes down to 55 F, so I leave it set there).
• clean off floor
