The Color Computer 2 has a more highly integrated mother board, but otherwise is almost 100% compatible with the original Color Computer. One slight difference is that the Color Computer 2 does not have 12 volts available on the cartridge port like the Color Computer does. The newer Color Computer 3 offered many improvement such as a better video system and extra keyboard key, but is backward compatible as well. The Dragon is a clone that is also Color Computer compatible.
