YOU WAKE UP.] /huh, grumble. shh./ [COME ON! WAKE UP!] /How does one close one's eye when the problem is on the inside of the eyeball?/ [ :-) ] /Very Funny. What time is it?/ [Well, based on what I figured the conversion rate is late morning.] "Argh." /I was supposed to get -/ [-up early to help the guys from the bar.] Sigh. Marcel quickly splashes water from the basin on his face. He knelt and intoned a quick prayer. He stood up invigorated, and refreshed. [If only you could bottle that.] /Rabbi, please./ Marcel quickly donned his armor, and hurried down the stairs to greet the rest of the Kron questors. "Good morning, my friends. I hope I am not trop late. Did I miss much of the talking about the .... What is the word for where we are to be?" Marcel sits down and listens as the rest of the group fills him in on the proposed raid on the warehouse. "Perhaps I should explain what I can do. I am skilled with my sword. I had another weapon, but it was destroyed upon arrival. I can shoot a crossbow, I suppose, but I am much better with the sword. My armor is very tough, and my sword is sharper than a normal blade. I have been trained in the healing rituals, but I am forbidden to the blessings of my Lord on those who follow other gods. If you follow no diety, I may be able to help you, if you are willing to learn of my God. I can also ward away undead and other unholy creatures as well as exorcise them from those they might possess. Lastly, I know a prayer that can entrap wizards. It will hold them fast temporarily, so they are unable to cast spells. I realize these may not be useful in fighting these men, but I thought I should expose myself anyway." [The eyeball, doofus.] "Oh, oui. I can see in the darkness by the heat of bodies. I think someone said that elves could do that." "So, when do we go to roust these rapscallions?" Marcel looks around expectantly. -- Rick Jones Systems Support Center albert@bcm.tmc.edu Baylor College of Medicine Voice: 713-798-7352 standard disclaimers apply "I've _got_ to start listening to those quiet, nagging doubts." - Calvin
