"Madame Azzar, even though the path is most safest, I should first to go? The way may be trapped." Azzar nodded, and allowed Marcel to move up in front of her, earning dirty looks from Colin and Captain. He warily approached the door. <> Marcel stared at it for a moment or two, looking at the edges carefully. /What do you think?/ [I don't see anything funny.] "I do not think the door is trapped. Please stand aside in case I am wrong." Marcel kicked open the door and slowly entered the next room, looking all around. It was a long corridor with a second door at the end. The arrow pointed towards the opposite door. "Look for murder holes," whispered Malieu. Marcel looked at the ceiling. "No cool or hot spots." "What?" "Apologies. I don't see anything strange. The floor doesn't appear wrongly either." I shall be careful, however. Marcel advanced down the corridor, the rest of the party behind him a few feet. [You know, you really should have looked at the -] KER-CHUNK!!! A stone slab slammed out from the left wall, seperating the party from Marcel. [- walls.] Lady Azzar's arrow abruptly changed direction to a blank spot of wall. "That's odd," she muttered. The wall abruptly popped open, and a pack of orc-dogs bounded out towards the party. [ADMIN: Here's a diagram d=door s=secret door (Opened, with Orc-dogs pouring out of it) ---------------------s---------------------------- | | | d Marcel | orc-dogs rest of party d (to acid room) | | | -------------------------------------------------- Let's get dangerous! Also, don't worry about Marcel, he's in trouble too, but will get back with the rest of the party eventually. The orc-dogs are just a warm up. Lady Azzar's arrow changed direction because it originally pointed out the best path to the drug lab. When this trap was sprung, the best path changed to through that secret door.] -- Rick Jones Systems Support Center albert@bcm.tmc.edu Baylor College of Medicine Voice: 713-798-7352 standard disclaimers apply "Hard to say, Ma'am.
